Bio
Dieuwie Holthuysen was born in the Netherlands and emigrated to what is now Zimbabwe in 1957. She showed artistic talent from a very early age, winning many local competitions. She embarked on a full time career in art in 1980. Over 35 years she has established a formidable reputation in portraying South African wildlife and birds in oils, pastels and watercolours. She has also captured the majesty of South Africa in landscapes and seascapes. Her work is constantly in demand from art galleries throughout the world.
